Not necessarily. Plenty of homeowners already have a decent sense of their water from an at-home test kit or their utility's water quality report — if you've got that, share it and it'll help us dial in a recommendation. If you don't, we can still work off what you're noticing (hard water spots, chlorine smell, etc.) and go from there.

Most whole-home systems are installed in a single day. Reverse osmosis and other under-sink add-ons typically take 1–2 hours and can often be bundled into the same visit.
